Virginia Archer is the pen name of Jean Mederick, who has a BEng.Hons. Degree in Civil Engineering with Architecture from the University of Leeds, England. She was born in the UK, from Saint Lucian and English parentage, but has lived most of her life on the tropical island paradise of Saint Lucia, where she resides with her teenage daughter.
